Republican Freeholders Larry Wallace and Vince Nestore are serving the
second year of their first term on the Board of Chosen Freeholders. Both Larry and Vince are Deptford natives. Larry moved to Woolwich Township with his wife Debi and two daughters while Vince stayed in Deptford with his wife Mary Ann.
Larry and Vince are committed to putting the taxpayers and residents of Gloucester County first. They strive to bring accountability, transparency and fiscal responsibility to County Government.

- Freeholder Larry Wallace
Freeholder Larry Wallace is currently serving his first term as a member of the Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
Freeholder Wallace grew up in the Almonesson section of Deptford Township, currently resides in Woolwich Township and is a lifelong resident of Gloucester County. A graduate of Deptford High School, Larry also attended Gloucester County Community College and Bucks County Community College.
Wallace has led or participated in numerous community based volunteer activities. He is a 17 year active member parishioner at Holy Name of Jesus Parish and an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Larry has coached youth soccer in Woolwich Township and has volunteered for many other charitable causes.
Larry is a proud veteran of the United States Navy, honorable discharged in 1988. Military awards include the “Navy Achievement Medal,” “Good Conduct Medal” and “Sharpshooter Ribbon”.
Freeholder Wallace is married to his wife, Debi, and has two daughters, Madison and Abby, and a son, Michael, who passed away from brain cancer in 1999.
This year, Freeholder Wallace’s responsibilities on the Board include serving as liaison to the Culture and Heritage Commission, Probation, Human Relations Commission, Courts, Tri-County Water Quality Management Board, Construction Board of Appeals, Commission for Women, and Correctional Services. Freeholder Wallace is also liaison to the County Clerk, Surrogate, Sheriff, and Prosecutor.

- Freeholder Vincent H. Nestore, Jr.
Freeholder Vincent H. Nestore, Jr. is currently serving his first term as a member of the Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
Freeholder Nestore lives in Deptford Township with his wife, Mary Ann, where they both attend and belong to Infant Jesus Parish (St. John Vianney). Vince is a 44 year resident of the township and graduated from its high school in 1981.
Upon graduation, Freeholder Nestore earned degrees in Health and Physical Education; an Associate’s Degree from Gloucester County College in 1984 and a Bachelor’s Degree from Rowan University in 1990.
Currently, Freeholder Nestore is a health and physical education teacher at Delsea High School in Franklin Township. While there, Vince was also the boy’s varsity soccer coach until he retired from the position in 2010 to provide more time to his new responsibilities related to the Freeholder Board.
As someone who values community service, Freeholder Nestore always encouraged his teams and others to participate in community activities such as the “Adopt-a-Highway” program and officiating/coaching youth soccer games. Freeholder Nestore was also instrumental in the establishment of ‘Natural Helpers’ and ‘Peer Mediation’ programs at the middle school.
This year, Freeholder Nestore will oversee and serve as liaison to the Human Services Department, a comprehensive department wide-ranging from the Administration of Grants to Youth and Addiction Services. He will also serve as liaison to the Transportation Advisory Board, Youth Services Commission and the Human Services Advisory Council.
